audison amps v alpine amps

hi all,
i know a few people will have a few words to say as i am comparing alpine with audison...but i have a few questions/need advice..
i am currently running an alpine v12 mrp-345, which is running my front focal splits(165 v1), and then bridged to my 13inch focal sub (33V1)
http://www.focal-fr.com/car/en/polyglass/index.htm
i then have a small alpine 2channel running my 6x9's in the rear..i have recently blown a channel on the small amp, and i am looking to free up the rear channels on the big alpine amp to run my 6x9's..
therefor i need an amp to run my sub, ive been looking at the alpine mrd605
600W x 1 RMS [2Ω @ 14.4V 1% THD]
400W x 1 RMS [4Ω @ 14.4V 1% THD]
400W x 1 RMS [2Ω @ 12V 1% THD]
250W x 1 RMS [4Ω @ 12V 1% THD]
S/N Ratio 90dBA (IHF A Weighted Reference at Rated Power into 4Ω)
Thermal Management
or the audison LRX 1.400
http://www.audison.it/prodotti.asp?lang ... prodotto=4
what do people think?, what can you recommend? experiences, etc etc
obviously i'm after a sound quality set up!
thanks
alex
