Post by imartin » Sat Oct 24, 2009 11:28 am

The other day i noticed that there was no sound outputing to the passernger front door speaker and the rear one also on the left side. i Have tried a different speaker in the back so its not just the 2 left speakers are not working.
Any suggestions?

Starting with the basics: are you sure the balance control isn't turned all the way to the right?

I had the same issue yesterday.

Right speaker worked fine, left didn't.

Turns out the clip had come off the negative terminal on the back of the speaker. Re-attached it and now all is fine.

But if its happening on the rear speaker as well as the front one. I would say its an issue with the headunit/rear connections to the head unit.

Pull the head unit out and get a multimeter - test the continuity from the wire at the speaker to the same wire at the head unit, should be solid if not thats probably the issue.
