Have you changed the sensitivity of the Wiimotes (faster/slower) and calibrated the pick-up/sensor (above/below TV)?

Its good fun, but too much tennis and you actually do get tennis elbow....

you need to make sure u stand far away from the tv or it dosent work so well.
just be sure not to chuck the controller at the tv when your getting into it also!

Or u can do it the slack way and change the sensitivity to high and sit on the couch... very little movement involved...:D

It took me a few days. I quite like it now, actually. I might try and see about using a wiimote as a navigation tool for the MythTV system I hope to set up one day (there are people who have figured out how to link them with a PC - apparantly it uses more or less regular bluetooth protocals). Easy for the kids to use and such. Pity the wiimotes are bloody $70+ a pop!

As far as sensitivity goes... I thought the sensitivity was to the lights in the bar thingy, rather than motion sensitivity.

Man Call of Duty 3 is an arm workout! Pretending to hold a gun for hours is painful :p
Living in Canada now. Looking at all these SVXs for sale...

I used a mates, and I got a handle on it pretty well. If you have pass background with gaming consoles, you obviously get how to use it a tad better though :D

I only played it for one day and was sore for the following two days, this could come down to fitness though haha. Good luck with it, and what games do you have?

I found it was best to get the packs where you get a game and a Wiimote in one. It works out heaps cheaper!

The fun we have had recently with the Mario Kart and Boxing is incredible. So much laughter. I have really good videos of some Wii victory dances to post too!

Finally got myself a Wii Fit this morning, so will see how that goes. As for the sensitivity settings, how are they changed???

I don't know which one to be more worried about. The wii victory dance or the drunken ho down to doof doof music lol

Well the Wii victory dance has a purpose. The ho down to doof doof was just silly.

Although, Nintendo may end up bringing out a dancing Wii competition game or something?

The wii fitness is a good one, how are you going with it so far bruce? I've done one day so far, this makes my graph look good cos it hasn't gone down yet... Apparently I have the fitness of a 63 year old or something... And I'm 26!

It also works out your posture and centre of gravity. Its all pretty interesting.

And yes, I've had a bout of tennis elbow after a night of tennis... fun fun.

Cheers

I really enjoy the wii fit. Mum and I have been comparing schools. I started with the fitness of a 41 year old and now i'm down to 34, so I only have 13 years left to cut. I've only played for 2 days though. The hula-hooping is a crack up.

I like the centre of gravity etc, but it goes to show just how shocking my posture is so not sure if I enjoy knowing it.

I am trying to find out how good the Guitar Hero is ... anyone got it??
