empi (weber) 32/36 carby

hey just wondering what people thoughts are on the empi carbys coz i would get the normal weber but cant find any with electric choke which i really want coz living in the snow itll be nice just to go out and leave it

haha yer i know that but i wanna know if there descent quality and if the surging problem will happen on these like it did on the hitachis

90% of things are made in china these days you sorta just take the risk i have and i have to admit iv gotten some pretty decent stuff and as for surge considering the quality of work in the webber,s i cant see it happening

ok sweet normally i would of gone the originals but none of them offer electric choke

why dont you go original and fit an afm elec choke ?

cant find elec choke to fit brumby unless it doesnt matter ???
but least witht the empi i know its designed for the brummby

look for a dgev 32/36 weber. if decide to go for one with a choke , i have 2 of them.

Go the Manual Choke one. They are way better as you can pull the lever to choke and push in to stop! As the water and electronic ones i have always heared problems with them no choking or sticking on.

if i was going to go manual ill just keep the hitachi its just i live in the snow and its a pain to go out and keep chinging the choke i think i might get one and see how it goes

nah its in cabin but i dont go out and sit in the car while it was up coz i gotta keep changing it or it dies
like i wanna go out and start it and leave it like a modern car

Weber 32/36 on Gumtree. Would need a subaru adaptor and perhaps jets to suit but you can get all this under $100 on ebay or form weber performance in VIC.
Looks chokeless, not sure what's involved in adding one...
