hehe. You see fax machines in cars in american movies but iv never seen 1 in real life. In a Mercedes or BMW i can understand...but a Commodore??? ROFL :D

You'd certainly want a deep cycle battery wouldnt you haha.

Ok, dont laugh but i have a 12V electric kettle for making a cuppa on trips hehehe

Think that was an option in the VL

From memory it was a $2,000 option!

I think the ultimate subaru accesory would have to be a genuine in-dash Subaru inclinometer and clinometer

Was there some weird law for a few years requiring these? 'Cause we had a Mitsubishi 4wd with one, factory fitter but always looked like an afterthought.

Genuine subi one is awesome !

doubtful

my GQ patrol came stock with a shitty little compass. 80series cruisers have them on the roof lining also.

probably just gimmicky sales ploy.

A friends 'cruiser had one with the little pics of a car on the dial. Somehow, through some spirited driving, the little dial had "flipped" so he little picture of the car was on its roof....

Those in car compasses never seem to have any shielding, and only seem to give direction accurate to about 90degrees either way.
