Yep, its great driving a liberty onto a barge packed with nissan and toyota drivers, the head turning and that look like 'what the hell is that doing on here'. We did nearly 300km's over 6 days and never once looked like getting into strife.
This is the first time to Moreton with the Liberty and after numerous trips to the island over the years in lifted Brumbys, early wagons and L series i was amazed at how easily the lib tackled everything. What it lacked in low range gearing it made up for in overall clearance (outback struts and lifted springs) as not once did we come close to getting hung up on the inland tracks. The lower profile tyres were fine to with the pressures down to 15 psi. Many of the tracks were chewed up and boggy but the Lib just idled through (with a bit of a poke every now and then) without even a scrape on the under carriage.
Im a huge fan of all subies, have been for years, but its liberty all the way from here on in!

Glad you have seen the light, how about you come along to a Club meeting some time, we would all like to have another Lib in the Club.
[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] Im now all grown up to an outback with a 2" lift and outback struts, ready to go off road and take on the world.
