Probably no problems with 'roos over in Sweden.Wow, this ute has seen some hard work and exposure over the years. Welcome
What year model is it ? What where thse sold as in Sweden - surely not Brumby ? BRAT is US marketing, MV1800 is UK.
EA81 dual range 4 speed carby I suppose.
Are you putting body filler over the rd paint? I thought it was supposed to be applied directly to bare metal to work best.
Do I see buckles in the tray to hold down a canopy ?

In sweden The model call Subaru 1800 Pick-up.
Its 1 1990 year modell
Yes EA81 Dual range 4 speed.
Yes its body filler, and also black paint over it. Well i was a "money saving" solution and to also save some time hope it will make the hard winter and not rust any more:D.

Welcome to the forum Doriss!
Looks like your brumby has had a colourful life in more ways than one!
All the best with the rust repairs, should come up good with the paint scheme you've settled on. I look forward to seeing more pics of your progress and then your adventures
Cheers
Bennie

yeah. I really cant believe how hard it is to find part for this cars in Sweden. we have a website that is biggest in Sweden for motor-sale (like ebay) and its only 1 Subaru brumby for sale and its worse condition's than mine is.
Btw here is some videos from the last winter!
Btw. this was with spike/stud tires
This year i will only use stud tires at the front then regular spring tires in the back for better "Ass shaking"
Enjoy!!

Doriss must have some pretty understanding neighbours with that circle work going on, or the local police were at the donut sale over the other end of town

My neighbors are very curious and some of them ask me if it worth the time and money saving the car.
I was just in the garage and took of my exhaust pipe.... worse then i thought
EDIT: It was loud but this must be a joke:) well i will try to weld it see if it works a new exhaust pipe cost 74,92 Au dollars (i know expensive but hey we are in sweden)

Ronald reagan had one? Yeah a legit BRAT would be nice, there the same as a brumby right? the only difference is the sticker that says brat on the side, and the seats in the tray. Yes seats in the tray up against the cab facing backwards.
