Hi Guys,
Does anyone know where I can get poly or other material suspension bushes for a Brumby. I'm mainly after the rear suspension bushes (Diff mount, trailing arm bushes, etc) but i'd be keen to know where I can get other ones as well. I've visited local suspension guys, and they say that only genuine ones are available :(. Cheers

Hey

Which local guys did u talk to? Fulrcrum, pedders? I know me brother (username Matt) has replaced those bushes with poly urethane on his Brumby and he got them in townsville. Talk to the guys at Cheapa Auto Spares on Ingham Rd, me bro most likely got them thru there, but he will confirm that if he sees this post.

Cheers

Boxer Motors, Brendale QLD (ph: 07 3207 4495) sell aftermarket (urethane ???) rear diff bushes for Brumby.

I fitted one of their bushes above the rear diff and it seems to be working well. The brumby's moustache bar bushes are also clagged, but I'm probably going to get another two bushes soon for that.

Someone on here made mention a while ago that the Boxer bushes were made from a hard material. Can't remember who it was that posted the info, and I dunno if anyone has had a negative experience with the Boxer Motor bushes.

Considering it will now be running a WRX driveline, i'm looking for some pretty firm ones to prevent too much movement, not really worried about ride quality. I'll give cheaper auto a go, it was fulcrum that I went to initally. Cheers

Second that cheapa auto spares, tell them it is the front control arm bushes, just measure the outer diameter before you go. should be 24 or 28mm.
