Front Suspension Help required

Looking at removing the current coilovers on the Brumby and replacing with a gas strut and spring arrangement. The car has the STI front cut conversion and is running WRX lower control arms. What will suit. I got hold of a set of RS Liberty struts and spring combo and went to fit yesterday but found the tops were not the same....

Any help would be much appreciated. Am also waiting on Shane from Perth to get back to me as I know he swapped the original suspension with these current coilovers.

Can't help you with this one .I'd like to see some pics of how the wrx control arms were mounted, espically the rear mount on the arm.

best way would be to drill the 3 holes in the top of the strut tower to accomodate the strut top

you can also try putting the my strut top on your suspension setup, but the my strut tops arent really much chop

pics would be helpfull to give us a better idea of whats going on too

I suppose it might be worth anyone that has done the WRX conversion answering what they are currently using for their front suspension...
I spoke with Shane and the current struts are from a GEN 2 Liberty..
