17x7 wrx myo2 rims on 1986 l series

will 17x7inch fit on my 1986 l series wagon? without major flaring or tubbing.
im guessing they will but just checking.

Have you modded your L-Series with 5 stud hubs? The WRX rims are 5 stud and the standard L-Series hubs are only 4, so without the mod they won't bolt up.

that didn't exactly answer his queston lol
but wouldn't it all depend on the outside diameter of the tyres he wishes to put on.
youd have to work that out and then post it up and someone on here will know wt the maximums are for tyres without any major trimming and bashing.
im not sure eitherway

I stuck a 215/45/17 on my leone one day just to see what it would look like. Looked good but a 40 series tyre would be better.

im thinking of running 205/40 's sorry i didnt tell add this before , pretty low profile.
reckon they'll fit?

He does have an important point though. If a 5 stud conversion isn't done on the L - then the wheels will not go on.

I had factory rs turbo rims (15/6) with 205/70 15's,with wheel adaptors(16mm thick from memory)and they looked factory.

They should fit ok, if its lowered you may have to 'make' some extra clearence.
I am running my99 16x7 with 205/50s on an 86 sedan. Front control arms are 25mm longer and have a little more offset on the rear than the crossbreed kit.
The guards are filled out very nicely. Yet to lower the rear, but nothing is scubbing yet.

205/40R17 596mm
205/50R16 611mm
205/70R15 668mm
