Yeah but apparently u can get them custom made to whatever length/travel you need. It might end up being really expensive but I suppose its the only way to get these features...
- Good travel
- Tough enough for offroading
- Fit behind the tyre/wheel to allow for very tall tyres

I'll start experimenting soon anyways, Crossbred kit should arrive soon!

if you are talking custom struts then its a whole different ballgame.

im talking about the cheap, commonly available coilovers.

I heard u can walk into a suspension place and order coilover struts for your wrx and ask for them to suit whatever specs you give. I guess those must be expensive tho.

Just curious, but why do you think they look dodgy, Dane? I can see that if the base is alloy then you are going to have to weld a collar on your existing strut prior to fitting. If they are steel then the base can be welded. (once the insert has been removed of course)
