Has anyones used commodore struts and spings on a l series
Hey i been told that commodore stock front springs look to be about the same diameter as l series springs but are much longer wondering if anyone has done this to prodvide lift to the front of the l series thanks

no more 91 l series, no more liberty sedan , 92 l series this time i will do all the mods i wated to do with my last l series, lift , wheels ,kings, roof basket, snrokel
Can't answer your question sorry, but.
Lifting suspension with springs will only decrease your down travel and impede your offroad ability. It may give more ground clearance, but at stock height your L series wagon should have ok camber and good CV angle. Sus lift will screw both of these up.

on a similar note-
ive read honda accord 86-93? with pop up headlights- front springs can be used in the rear of an L series for extra lift. ( chopping a coil is suggested as they are a little too big) I was going to try this one myself but needed new shocks and put 2wd kyb's in to give me the lift up.

^ Yep, done that to mates wagon and popped the bottom mount off the shocker, had to weld them back on to get home and that of case blew out the gas strut, lol was fun.
I put rear L series springs in the front of the Brumby. Gained about an inch, they were also soft. Lost that inch when I stuck the EJ in, but I was happy as with that extra power I didn't want to eat through shafts any faster. It was on a diet of 1 S/H shaft every two or three months anyhow.
