These were ordered as 99 Outback trailing arm brackets.
The comparison shots are with gen1 series1 Lib.
Currently trying to determine whether the 99's are any different from the 98's?
Daza.

Daza the 98 is a cross over model,Gen3 started towards the end of 98,so you've got gen 2 and 3 in 98.Not a 100% but i think there were rear suspension changes.Kind of confusing cause those brackets all look similar just hole position varies.

Thanks Will,
The brackets i have i mis-ordered, 99 instead of 97, but they fit the Impreza fine and the holes are the same as the gen 1 series1 by eye.
So my theroy is that the Outback trailing arm bracket didn't change from gen2 to gen3.

Thanks heaps for the pics, the bolts that fix the mount to the chassis look spot on, as long as the trailing arm bolt is set back then it'll be an improvement on what's currently there. I remember Dane posting that the difference is about 8mm.

How much are they worth?

couldn't you just mod the original ones by re-drilling and welding a washer in the new position? doesn't look like that much of a difference to me

Nah can't be done as the outback ones are about 80mm taller.
Cheers

Hi Daza,

Been doing some research and those brackets are early forester. I didn't get to check for myself but a wrecker in Melbourne said he put them side by side with Gen II Liberty mounts and said there was no difference.

I was hoing they'd be an alternative to the Gen II OB mounts 20520AC030 (RH) and 20520AC040 (LH) that are a 3 week wait x Japan atm.

Thanks Frog, I stuffed it up typing it in. :)

Correct numbers for the OB trailing arm mounts/brackets are:

20520AC030 (RH)
20520AC040 (LH)

They are different to Liberty as Dane says, it's only Daza's forester brackets that are the same (as far as physical dimensions go)

Frog can you compare 1994 LX AWG Wagon and 1996 Outback in Subaru Fast and see what comes out?

I know for sure the parts are different for those cars. I did one last year
