3 inch kit will be near the $450 mark, give or take a few. Hang out for SWK to give you an exact figure though.

Good luck with it, I too hope to be doing what you are to my L one day (prob next year when i get a "real" job).

Cheers

I think in time u guys will realize Dave from Hirise and Brett (the BYB man) have well and truly resolved their differences. From what I have heard they have been friends for over 20 years and have both realized business/money crap is just not worth the trouble.
I now beleive it as Dave (Hirise) is apparently well and truly over it and is also closing his internet site and stuff as its not worth the trouble.
Trying to keep afordable subie kits available has become too hard due to the international market and is only selling via word of mouth (maybe...as he can't keep up)
Seemsto me after ordering my kit and being stolked on arrival of its quality and price range...well I am actually dumfounded.
I just went to order a kit for my new Lib (used) only to find that my order would be accepted....but only just as he is not taking too many orders full stop.it seems one bad report on onebad web site who would allow the rubbish is enuff to make a persons not bother.

From my initial reccomendations to buy from Hirise, and from what I have heard from all sources including here via pm....we, the subie community have again lost another affordable source which really sux!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just talked to HiRise on the phone - I can confirm he isn't making lift kits anymore.
He is making the orders he has at the moment then stopping.
He said he will probably put something up about it on the website soon.

Is the paragraph below, found under the link, really out of date?
Because suggesting from the bold writing they are meant to be expanding, not getting sick of it...
Just a thought.

Welcome to the NEW Hi-Rise Subaru site.
This particular site is dedicated to lift kits at this stage.
We will be extending into a much larger array of accessories.

Thankyou and enjoy the site, your feedback is greatly appreciated.
Edit: Mob number on the site isn't connected either... ?

Anything on fun on wheels would be old.

Dave is on his way home from my place after cruising all round the country.
He told me he plans to hook straight into any liftkit orders as soon as he gets home.

Steve brumbyrunner is talking about Dave[SWK] not Dave at Hirise. The two Daves can confuse situations.

Talking about our mate which we all know...
he also has my money for a lift kit which is 'on stock' I was told.
I Paid him in May just before he went on Finke trip. Yes, His phone is disconnected and he wont answer emails. Before I paid, he assured me this old 'payment practice' from the past is over.

I'm a well known tax lawyer in our place (Europe) and have my business partner in Sydney. I hope I will not need to use mine or his business skills for this matter....I prefer to keep friends, especially with Subi owners.

Foggy
