Hey folks. I have the 1998-2003 Liberty and Outback workshop manuals in pdf format, plust a bunch of SBs and tips and suchlike. I'm more than willing to share them, if someone can point me to a good place to upload them.

It only cost me $10 from ebay - bloody subaru wanted $700 for the paper WDM alone!

Anyway, know anyplace good? I used to have a great place to upload things, but the server died and my friend couldn't afford to fix it. :(

I'm getting ADSL2 in the next week or two and I'm going to run a server off that. I've already got about 2 gig of Subaru manuals. I can put yours in there as well.

Is 106Meg too big? The 1997/98 Impreza Workshop manual is 147M and the 2001-2002 (bug-eye) Impreza one is 52M.

Mine's 151mb, in a .rar file containing the main .pdf document, "wheel bearing installation.pdf", five SBs for the sti and four for the regular WRX, eleven "tech reference books" which I've never bothered to read, but looking at them now they could be handy for an amature like me :P, sixteen "techtips" newsletter-type things, and seven "video reference" .pdf files. The manual itself is 118mb uncompressed. I'll send an email right away, though i don't know how Gmail will take it.

PJ, I've tried a couple of times, but Gmail doesn't seem to want to cooperate. It could be my intertube connection, too. It's been playing up today. I'm trying again, but failing that I could stick it on a cd and post it to you.

*edit* Yup. Gmail isn't cooperating, and there's something in my network that's preventing me from dcc'ing the file to a friend who has a webserver. I'll burn it to cd now and send it out if you want.

Woah they are big.

I'll setup an ftp server then. Details soon.

No worries. I'd fix this network, but it's not mine and my mum is a pain in the arse when it comes to me fiddling with things. Best to leave it as it is and let her pay someone to fix it if she's bothered by it. Much less hassle.

Try doing it via here but you need an email address to send the file too.
My mate sent me a 211MB the other day via this site.

Just a note: I have the manuals on my SD card that I keep with me, so next time there's a meet or trip or whatever, and someone brings a computer, I can copy it over easy-peasy.

Hi there,
What became of this? Did any manuals get up-loaded, and if so how can they be accessed?

Have a look at this link:
http://people.csail.mit.edu/ilh/vacation/
It is presumably a US spec.
