Manuals for MPFI L Series

Post by Pecheur » Fri Jun 13, 2008 3:50 pm

Thankyou Discopotato, you are a jem. I have been hunting for a MPFI manual and wiring as i am converting back to a carbi (maybe). The differences in the ECU i can now refer to and make sense of for my 88 MPFI L Series touring wagon.

I have done the head gasket on one bank and figured it may be easier to do a heart transplant back to a carbi engine out of a sportswagon, but I was thinking of dropping the existing MPFI intake onto the 100,000km carbi short engine to get around any rewiring issues. There appears to be differences from what i can pick up from others (Elfredo thankyou) with a port out of the block to the crankcase.

This manual makes things much easier. Many thanks again to those who responsed to my L series auto to manual conversion thread.

Wayne
