Hey just found this during my quest for SVX details. Not sure if it's known here already though. Found it through one of the SVX related forums though I can't find the exact thread at the moment. Still: could come in handy:

Yep used it a lot but it has gone down hill since they put all the advertising in . It has made it really difficult to navigate as the ads overlay everything. Sorry should've said that happens in firefox. in chrome the page layout works properly but annoying ads are still there.

I'm using FF v44.0.2 and I don't see any ads on that site, maybe because I also use Adblock Plus.

Yeah I didn't notice any ads either hah. Adblock for the win.

There is also an Adblock Plus Pop Up add-on as well to kill pop ups on websites.

Go to your hosts file (windows/system32/drivers/etc) and paste it 127.0.0.1 cdn.user-api.com. Now the ads get "sourced" from your local IP address and therefore can't be loaded. This works for all browsers.
