93 L Series Worshop Manual
Hey Guys
Anyone suggest the best workshop Manual for 93 L Series. I'm looking for one with a good guide to changing CV joints..
Thanks.

ausubaru.com is the best workshop manual I've found. Gregory's lacks detail, and the factory one is too detailed in most places.
One tip though, don't use the ausubaru search function, instead Google something like:
"l series" cv replacement site:http://www.ausubaru.com
and you'll find somtheing like this.
Dane.

Coxy did my first one , lined the CV stub up through the hub/bearings and tapped gently and evenly around the outer face of the knuckle casting with a soft faced hammer - nylon or copper can't remember .
I did the second one without much difficulty .
Just better to use a knockometer made of softer material than the component being persuaded .
Also fitting the nut on backwards (to the full depth of its thread) is a good way to knock things out , the aim being to protect the outer face of the nut and the threads on the CV's stub axle . Again preferably with a soft faced hammer . Every good set of tools has one .
