CB Radio-installation & arial location

Hey i'm thinking of getting a uhf-the uniden uh-o12 is looking good. i think that it will fit in hole under the radio where there is a tray-i think only 2 screws hold it in. has any1 tried this? also i'd like to put the arial on a roof rack for better range but have no idea how to attach it-pics would be good thanx,

Do you have an L Series or an MY?

This is how I mounted mine in my L. The stereo has been moved up - and the CB is placed under it. The crappy tape deck is now replaced with a Pioneer unit.

What roof racks do u have that your trying to fit the antenna to... Rola sell a bracket that bolts to there racks that would be good.

i've just got the stock ones-but that rola roof rack sounds good i'll check it out thanx
