pictures speak lotsa words

this thing is found in better condition lhs behind the carby, under air filter box.

Has about four vac hoses connected, with one at its base, one on its side, two up top with a third pipe up top blanked off.

This was on a 89, likely same right through to the end of production.

Got one in a no melt state ?

PM's work , just don't wanna start something, price bid war etc :p

How'd it get like this ?? It is what happens when somone doesn't notice EGR difference between black and blue rocker cover EA81's ! EGR from top of #3 not blocked off - blew hot air all over this thing !

Sorry for making it easy, just happened to have one sitting on the front edge of the top shelf. From 89 carbie L, may even have two, but no longer required, so FOR SALE........................OFFER ?????
Fresh photo, now on file.
Ok fingers were dirty from fixing DRZ puncture, but a least they look like workers fingers.
Go digging Jonno.

reason my anglo fingers look so clean is they are in recovery stage from 90 mins of pressure washing and are returning from water logged prune state combined with white finger disease from the vibration of the pressure gun ! All in the name of less grot as i tinker ;)
I must have one of these things then .....must fight way through shed

opens door and one nearly falls out on me ! Just had to know where to look - thermostat end of under air box instead of back behind like in the 89 Brumby. More joy from the $250 Touring Wagon. Was a shame to strip it, but gees, still bringing joy to a hoarder.

Greg has fully earned his six star award since joining - what , less than a year ago ?

:) :) :) :) :) :)

thanks for reading, thanks for sharing

oops, actually need a better look at yours and mine and the melted one. My L one SPDL30-21 has no bottom hose, just flat sealed ..., think yours does , no idea about melted one TBA

OK, time to close the WANT ad, so if it bumps - it ain't me !

Found the little hitachi item left the factory with a tube to connect to at the bottom, found it inside a hose that was not connected a few minutes ago. Job for araldite :)

Almost finished putting it in, but found that one employee of a dealership that is no more, got very imaginative when he refitted the plethora of vacuum hoses for the customer at great expense to the customer. So far looks like two of about fifteen hoses were in correctly !! Absolute abortion of a job from a dealership , dunno how they dared charge for the 'work'! Was like someone doin a jigsaw puzzle got confused and hammered every wrong piece in place !!
