Have you looked on at ebay International sales? Saw some a while back shipped from UK for about $350. Still a lot of money though!

Yep, I do international searches, I thought perhaps there might have been a local secondhand one out there.

Cheers and thanks tho.

How much are you prepared to spend ?

New old stock carburetors are available from ebay all the time.

http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_trks ... &_from=R40

very similar to webers and way cheaper

If you really want a 32/36 weber send me a pm

Then the question is which weber number and which choke option. I think one I saw had a wired to the choke add on item and it was a squeeze up against one HT lead end on the dizzy. May be an adapter plate thing causing that ??

Webers are a pretty good carby so they don't really come dead cheap. I think I paid around $400 for mine NIB with an adaptor plate. Electric choke was more of a headache then a benefit, so it got taken off (just let her warm up before tromping it ;) ). Worth every penny. I took mine off recently and might be selling it some time in the future, not sure when. Il throw it up on here anyway.

Yeah, I have heard that, I have the water choke and I don't mind that at all.

i have a weber on the motor i just pulled out of my wagon and replaced it with a ea82t. the motor is going in a rx for the wife but I'm putting a factory manifold on it with all the pollution gear and standed settings. i brought it for $500 18months ago and I'm happy to sell it. would get rid on the whole intake manifold as its attached to it with the adaptor plate and all threaded holes and bolts. as i remember it sucked to put on. the car was running good and i think the new motor is using more fuel but maybe I'm just loving the BBOOOOSSTT :) its available anyway. if no one wants it, i will put it on a buggy I'm building with a ea81. I'm located on the sunshine coast
