Hi Guy, looking to do the Disc Brake Change Over to the rear on the Brumby.
They tell me that either Vortex or L Series RX 4 WD Rear Disc Brake will do the trick. The Brumby has a new name, "Humpty", because it's always in pieces.
Regards Buddyboy.

Thanks to everyone that replied, I did not expect to pay $500 for them, so I will just have to wait and see what happens. I'll keep my fingers crossed and hope someone has a set and has not yet read the want ads.

I did forget to mention that the ones on my brumby cost $400 but has brand new rotors and pads.
That ebay sale is good values 2 sets for 500 dollars the rotors look rusty but servicable.
EDIT hmmmm maybe not one set is front wheel drive so the hubs and splines will be different to the 4wd ones

That's a crazy price for them! And if you do shell out for this you're about half way to a cross **** conversion yourself!
I doubt they'd sell unless it's to a die hard 4x140 PCD fan - or someone who wants to keep their subi looking stock.
Cheers

Last set I imported cost about $340 landed. They aren't as common as they once were in the US, my first set cost me $100 and $110 for shipping. Now it's closer to $125-150 and $200 in shipping. So $400 is probably about right for a local set.

The tricky parts are the backing plates and the hubs, if you can source those you can easily get the rest from Rock Auto (discs loaded with pads, rotors and new hoses... ).
I did this to piece together a 2WD set. Backing plates from a member here, hubs from a USMB member in the US and the rest from Rock Auto... Way cheaper than that set on eBay too!

Thanks for the info guys, I have purchased the set that was advertised on Gumtree and Ebay. Got them a lot cheaper than he had them advertised, he just wanted to get them out of his Garage. Backing Plates had a few stone chips, otherwise perfect. The Discs and Callipers look like they are near new. Have got to be thankful for guys doing the 5 stud change over and only had to travel from the Gold Coast to Logan. Already cleaned up the Backing Plates and given them a coat of paint, should put them on over Easter.
