EA82 timing belts!

Post by tex » Fri Feb 22, 2013 1:48 am

Anyone got any second hand ones for a bush basher that they could send to canberra.

Im just not so keen on spending nearly a hundred bucks on an engine in unknown condition especially when the car itself only cost me that!
87 targa brumby (Neglected),
92 targa brumby (weekend runabout),
97 Lifted Outback (Dailey drive),
05 outback safety (Too cheap to pass up),
90 model liberty (was to be scrapped instead sold to workmate)
+ others.

I have some in a box but might be easier to find closer to home?
You know you are getting old when the candles on your birthday cake start to cost more than the cake itself.

I had about six sets for six years , and only recently tossed them, keeping one set for an emergency, looks like I tossed them - space restrictions. Bet you would not have taken them if I'd announced them on freecycle either. Will have a new set maybe if I can test the motor in my Vortex in time, not see that happen for months though....
