EJ22 motor in WA

Post by AndrewT » Wed Oct 09, 2013 4:03 pm

Anyone got one in decent running condition? Don't need clutch/flywheel stuff, don't need wiring loom or ECU etc. Just motor only.

You tried KPM? aka Guyph
You know you are getting old when the candles on your birthday cake start to cost more than the cake itself.

only tried the above so far. Not sure what KPM is but I will contact Guyph, thanks.

Might not need one, just seeing what is around. Have a dead EJ22 on my hands but haven't troubleshot it yet. Apparently it was running fine, then just died like it stalled, no power. Didn't make any bad noises, just died. It's getting fuel and spark but just won't start.
Probably timing belt or something.

Yeah that seems reasonable. Thanks for the tip. Turns out the motor was totally fine so I won't be needed a replacement after all.

cheers anyways.
