Hi Guys, Steve here, I have not been on the forum for years.
I had the Rising Sun at Gepps Cross [S.A.], used to do a lot of Subi's.
I have a Brumby to sell, a bit unusual;
It was put together by one of my son a few years back, we had a family loss and it has sat since.
It is fitted up with an EG33 SVX engine 184Kw's, using factory management. Low K Jap import.
The auto trans is the 4 speed auto, SXV unit, the SVX ran a beefed up unit with a planetary gear set for the AWD, with a lock up clutch.
We took out the 3.7 ratios, I think we put in 4.11 diffs, I can check, not sure if it is an LSD rear, will check.
It has the Crossbreed conversion, so it is running Liberty brakes and wheels, fitted with a 2" lift kit [does not use strut top extensions]
Power steer
Exhaust was all done.
Can be register in S.A. straight away BUT, it is not engineered.,
Body is not bad at all it was repainted but the paint has gone off. General condition is fair, value is in the parts.
Radiator is mounted behind the cab, twin fans, mounted on a roll bar set up.
It goes like stink, very quick!
Needs cleaning up, great project of for parts.
Was driven on the road regularly until mothballed.
Will post photos tomorrow.
$3000 [Cost over $10k when we did it all. plus car]
Can arrange delivery or drop to your depot.

I saw this Brumby mid build, looked like a nice clean Brumby then and I'm sure it ended up as a clean install as well. Did the radiators end up in the tray?

It has sat in the weather for a long time so it is no as nice as it was, I am only after parts money, but it is a good going concern!

Wow, the beast lives!
Steve honoured me with a drive of it, or it's twin (wasn't there two?) one rainy day many years ago, he was thinking of selling it at the time. I nearly convinced my Dad it was the perfect farm ute that day.
🤔
Maybe this time....

Hi Guys sorry but I have been away plus a little of life can suck stuff.
I finally got this fired up, put new spark plus etc but only running on 5 at the moment.
I lubed using two stroke oil through the intake, sticking valves can be an issue if sitting.
The engine was a low K import so should be fine.
Possible coil pack or injector from sitting.
Running out of time with my buggies, this has lots of hard to get parts such as the crossbred kit.
A few people have contacted me, sorry if I have not got back to you!
If you have an interest please call me on 0407728283
The body is okay but the paint is shot. The car has been sitting in the weather and looks like crap
The auto trans is a fantastic upgrade to your 4 speed auto as it is the planetary gearset AWD type
Twin headlight model.
Power steering
Crossbred kit, conversion with lift kit.
Please let me know.
