82 Subaru Leone Coupe 13b Turbo AWD
Description
Selling my beloved project car!
• 1982 GLF Leone Coupe
•*Series 5 13b Turbo (rotary) with EMS computer
• Factory oil cooler
• World Rally Blue - full body respray
• Custom tailshaft
•*16" chrome allow wheels (no scuffs)
• 3" full exhaust + down pipe
• Bosch HP fuel pump
•*RX Turbo AWD gearbox (single range)
• Central locking
•*JVC stereo with JL Audio speakers
•*4 wheel disc brakes (RX Turbo)
• Electric windows
• Sunroof
• Custom body kit
• Air conditioning is there but compressor is not installed
• Bright ****ing headlights (rewired by auto elec)
• Custom interior and door panels
• Coupe dash (analog gauges) with touring wagon lower console
•*AutoTechnica racing seats
• 4.11 rear diff
•*Modified bonnet with scoop
For those who remember this car, I built it with a bunch of people on the board here back in the day and attended a few meetups. I live overseas now and I just haven't driven it for nearly 8 years. As a result, it's been sitting and could do with some love.
The work was done by me, some friends, and a few shops which includes custom cross members and adapter plate for the rotary/gearbox. It's well done and you won't be disappointed. The engine crossmember is dropped, and being a rotary (tall, not wide) means the chassis has not been modified like in EJ conversions.
It will need a full service (plugs, oil, leads) but when it was shutdown last, it was running just fine. I parked it because I moved overseas and planned to come back - but then I met a girl... It was a weapon when I drove it and regularly kept up with R33s etc because it weighs nothing.
I'm not interested in parting it out sorry. It's not registered anymore so you'd need to bring a trailer/truck. Happy to show it to serious buyers but very busy with travel and work so please no tire kickers.
Get yourself a one-off car - you just won't find this kind of car again so don't delay.
Condition
Mechanically good, interior good, body good (small rust spot). It needs to some love to bring it back to life but not much.
Unfortunately my build pics are on my HDD in the US but here's a video from a while back.
I will grab some current pics later this week.
Location
Car is in Ipswich but looking to move it later this week closer to Gold Coast.
Price
Make an offer - not going to firesale it but would prefer it gone.
