Were the Uglies in that category ? I think my diff protector was off an ugly and needed some mods to fit.

I might have to get one of these but maybe somehow a thicker one.
I have one (original off an old RX sedan) and I smashed it on a rock once - it bent up and smashed itself into the diff lol. Maybe it did still save the diff still though, the diff was fine after all!

I've not measured the ugly series diff but I have my ute here, so I'll check it out and report back.

These protector plates are 5mm think unlike the original Subaru ones that were 3mm

Ooh, tempting...

I really need to work on my bash plate before I look at the rear diff... I smashed my exhaust extractor on the driver's side pretty hard last weekend - cracked a factory weld on the exhaust manifold :(

Cheers

Hey Paul, Just to let you know, if fit brumby,M.Y. , Liberty/outback gen1 &2, they wont fit gen 3 . Totally different mounting.

The diff protectors are almost a carbon copy of the CROSS B R E D PERFORM ANCE ones.

Thanks Dave but I'm selling these for what they owe me. As most people know, I'm not looking to retire off my parts or service :)

Thanks Rick, I'm pretty sure you're correct as my friend gave me back the one I sold him for his 03 Outback. I will have to see what is required to fit to the later models.

I'm not sure what the xbread ones look like, so I'll take you're word on that. I can make changes to them if needed but I had 10 made up, so won't worry about it for this lot.

Ok Rick, just had a look at the Gen3 and just need to bend them slightly to miss the diff mount and they will fit perfectly. I'll be doing one up for a friend shortly, so I'll post up the pics.

Forgot all about this sorry, so I'll get my son to measure up and weigh it, so I can give you a quote for postage.
