Michelago: Brumby for sale

Post by pitrack_1 » Fri Apr 13, 2012 12:54 am

Ever since I joined this group all i can see are Brumbys and L-series all over the place. I went for a drive up the Tinderry rd with my 10-month-old on a gorgeous Thursday morning. The following was seen parked next to the Monaro Hwy at Michelago, see attached pics:

- Asking $4500
- Claims 12 months rego (didn't look at sticker, sorry)
- 335,000km showing on odo
- Ph: 0403 018 805
- Cursory walk around showed damage to driver's side front fender, bend at pax door jamb, next to rear edge of door and some possible seam weld damage and rust (spotted in photo) . Apart from that, it cursorily appeared in reasonable nick (couldn't see much inside due to cardboard).

Nup- you gotta be quick to catch that snow! It was probably gone the same day. By Thurs it was a glorious sunny 20-22C. My 10 month-old was in a summer outfit and I was wishing I was in shorts while we had lunch out of the back of the car on top on the Tinderry Rd.

Perhaps the seller thinks the soon to arrive BRZ will increase demand and hence the price! Realistically, overpriced by $4500.

That always seems to be the way with many used cars for sale in this state, way over priced. A shame, that would be a nice run around for me when my car is off the road...if it was $4500 cheaper :o

Nice car, pity about the head gasket. Looking at interstate (mainly Victoria) car prices I'm thinking about going over to buy a car for half the price I would pay here and drive it back but dunno how feasible that is in real life  Then I would be buying practically sight unseen, would the cost of fuel/flight use up what I'd save on the car?

Maybe not then :o

MY wagon going cheap! Hmm I need another daily and this is cheap...dunno if I should though; having my project wagon, a parts wagon and another one to drive around would be hilarious but a bit strange. I'd also never hear the end of it from family and friends
