At this stage I am just putting the feelers out if there is a forum member who is interested in purchasing my outback.
A country relocation for an intense job mean I think I need to sell one of the cars. We also have a SG forester luxury so in theory could sell that instead but my partner is unsure about which to sell. If you are in the market for a Forester then get in touch.

So the details.

2004 Gen 4 outback
6 cylinder 3.0 litre EZ30R
184,000km
Black exterior
Cream leather/suede interior
NSW rego to July

Genuine factory options/inclusions include:
-Towbar and transmission cooler
-Roof racks
-Rubber floor mats
-Rear cargo mat
-Cargo blind
-Bonnet protector

-Front fog lights

Aftermarket:
-ECB nudge bar
-Lightforce spotties
-Nokia bluetooth handsfree

In my ownership 90% of distance has been on the highway. It has taken me far and wide throughout NSW, VIC and SA.
I think it was originally sold in Newcastle, then to someone in Mudgee before me. I have all original paperwork an the service book is well stamped with country dealers. I keep receipts so have everything in an excel spreadsheet and the originals in a file. I stopped keeping the fuel receipts after about 10,000km but have always run it on premium 95 or 98.
I change oil and filter every 8000km, regardless of use.

The good:
A superb car. It has never left me stranded, and has saved me from a few close calls with wildlife on the dark backroads.
Engine and transmission are the definition of reliable.
Interior is in very good condition, and I treat the leather frequently.
Bridgestone Potenza tyres ~50% tread remaining to wear markers.

The bad:
The clear coat finish is what lets this car down, as has seen its fair share of bugs, grit and rocks on the country roads. There are also 2 small scrapes on the front left and rear right wheel arch plastic trim courtesy of Sydney drivers.
I wash it weekly because I am pedantic and it still looks fantastic but someone who wanted the perfect black paint job would not buy this car. Although it is smooth and well looked after it shows its use. I have painted the front bumper in a matte black finish as it looked crap with all the chips and is now easier to clean. Some may think this odd.
The picture shows what the paint looks like after a wash.
The driver's seat suede insert is showing some wear.
There is a chip in the windscreen that hasn't changed for my ownership, and I am toying with the idea of replacing it.
Front CVs will click if you push hard on low gear corners.

Parts sold with car:
-A box of oil filters, maybe 6?
-An air filter
-2 brand new front driveshafts in box, bought from Subaru

Hi mate.
Begging your pardon, yes an auto.
My understanding is that all of the H6 in this series were (from the factory...) 5 speed automatics.
