A couple of friends and I hit up a jetty in the brissie river this morning. Between 7:30 and 9:30 we got a good sized bream ( 34cm ) and 3 catties, two of which were huge ( and caught on ultra-light gear by my mate ).

Headed off to work and left Kev there, and then talked myself into going back and rejoining him at about 11. I Caught another 3 or 4 bream including another 34cm model.

I have seen a tiny full of jew caught off breakfast creek road Albion ..

I have seen a 11 ft Bronze Whaler caught off the reach at Breakfast Creek

I have caught a 18 lpb Jew with a gold bomba lure under the breaky ck bridge

I am not suprised you got fish there ..

hence it's got lot's and lot's of fish in it ..


well done .. go back .. and catch urself a leapard ray .. (yeh there in the there 2) as well as dolphins 1 k up breakfast creek .. .. not kid'n seen them there before .. aswell ..

They'd get spooled on their gear pretty quickly if they hooked a dolphin...

Was involved in a brisbane river fishing comp a couple of weeks ago.. One guy pulled in a 2.7 Metre Bullshark from near Pinkenba, also a couple of 12kg threadfin were pulled in, and two 40+cm bream!
