Barra in the passage

Post by Ben » Fri Jul 20, 2007 2:43 pm

Whaddya reckon?

http://www.ausfish.com.au/vforum/showth ... p?t=113477

SST says water temps there are around 16 degrees at the moment.....

Aussie natives totally shut down in cool water like that, would think the last thing on a barra's mind in that temp water is finding warm not food...

Put me down for disbelieve. Where that pic is taken would be out the front of Satts pub or there-abouts. Possible but not likely. Could have been an escapee from one of the fish farms maybe, but not here and not at this time of year. Surely not. Then again it may have come down with the croc that is spotted once every few years.

Ok, I thinkI am going to retract my disbelief....

A BONEFISH was reported as caught at Coffs, in the paper article written by Peter Russell, of Fishing Tackle Australia!!!

Geez, I hope they become a regular occurrence!!!

Bet it was Moonee Creek
