cos im excited and its almost time for the salmon to start their annual run up the west coast! wooot wooot!

Almost time We were down last weekend and caught just the 1 but still early. You should start organizing a AUSubaru fishing trip

first couple of proper schools are starting to round the point.

This was passing through Hamelin Bay on the weekend. Photos like this make me froth at the mouth. Should be perfect timing for a trip at easter Im going down there this weekend, should be interesting indeedily

When you leaving and how long you staying?

im leaving friday night till sunday. Its my folks 30th anniversary so i gotta down for that.

But i plan on fishing most of the time

im going to be leaving my big gear at home and only taking my 2lb and 6lb bream gear. Should be interesting

yeah im just about to upgrade the drag washers on my little diawa to these new carbon fibre jobbies. Gotta test them out. Theyre meant to be silky smooth but im sceptical haha.

Big reports of fish at hamelin bay all weekend so thats where Dave and i will be headed this weekend. Paul, ive PMd you number if you plan on coming down.

Unfortunately ill be in my hella low liberty so there will be no beach driving on my part.

Have returned...and lets just say it was an EPIC fishing trip...cant wait to get down there again next weekend to do some more serious fishing!!!

I had 2 good friends with hail damaged cars that needed to get returned to stock before taking them in to their insurance people and just got home now after a very long day.

Next weekend is Easter weekend and it's going to be chaos down there but I'll be ready the weekend after Easter. I've been told be work that I'm not allowed back until the foot is 100% normal another 10 weeks at home...

no wonder we didnt hear from ya!!


lets just say it was an epic weekend of fishing

and ill never ever put a fish before my life. adrenalin + fishing off rocks with major wave washovers = disaster every time
