We Bought a House Too!!!

My misses and I have also just bought a house. Settlement is just over a week away.

It's in Hammersly, Which is about 20 mins north of Perth (WA). 4 bed, 2 bath, 800 sq Meter block, swimming pool and best of all a HUGE garage. The garage measures 6.5 by 20 meters.

As the guys from WA know i have been working out of a 2.4 by 1.5 meter shed for a long time now so i can't wait too get hold of this bad boy. Plenty of Suba space.

Only problem is i keep putting off any work or maintenace on Hatchie until i get to use the Garage to do it in.

Dave all the best to yourself and the better half. Having access to an industrial estate size shed will definitely beat that 6x8 tarp we have worked on in the past :-D Let me know should you need a hand with anything.

Congratulations, its not as hard as everybody thinks, just fix your intrest rate if you can. Ours is fixed at 8.54%

Thats one hell of a shed, you could run a subaru conversion factory out of that.

6.5 x 20 ? that's as big as the house we live in, the sheds a tad smaller

Good to see you got your priorities right :)

Congrats on the big purchase. Home ownership is great, in my opinion. I love doing work around the house, knowing that you can do what you want and improve / modify / change to your own specs.

I must admit, though, I am quietly sh***ing myself at the moment with the latest interest rate rises and speculation of more to come!!!

I tell a lie... Rechecked house plans. Shed is actually more like 17 meters by 6.5 meters. Living space is almost equal to shed space. Good ratio as far as im concerned.

man thats so funny.

i can imagine your poor other half when you were looking at houses

"what about this one"

"no, no shed..."

"this one"

"no, shed too small"

i have been doing the same thing to my girl, driving her insane ;)
