this might only help with the people who have brumbys, but i found out the other day that driving with the tailgate down/not there, will use more fuel than with it up (if you havent got a cover)
reason being that with it down, it allows the air stream to drop down behind the window and flow over the back, this creates more down force, where as if it were up, it creates a bubble of vacuum in the tray and the air travels over the top, less drag and less down force.
apparently thats what those fins on the roof of all the lancer evo's do, create turbulence and form a bubble of vacuum behind the window to direct air better.
