Now this is something we all do to personalise our rides n rigs – some more then others, and you either love it or hate it. Anyway last night after a late client in East Vic Park I spotted an worked RS turbo running current spec WRX bonnet scoop and rear wing (the low WRX 1 not the STi version) – What can I say other then she really looked the goods. I think $ well spent, and a great mix of old(er) school rides and the current technology…
I am sure that if you were really keen and logged onto the Perth WRX club in WA that you might see a pic of it.

It wouldn't happened to have been white with gold rims would it? The car I'm thinking of is running a 2.5 STi motor with a twinscroll turbo.

Yeah the car has been running the charcole rims usually, and for the drags last wed he installed 2004 STI gold rims with R-comps...
The scoop is a 2002+STI scoop and the bot lid I think is factory Oz delivered RS.
Last run on the hub Dyno was ~270psatw and 297psatw with H20 injection allowing 2-3 degrees across the board on ~1.25bar....this 2.5 doesn`t like timing....we think it turned out a 8.7:1+ comp ratio
I had one drive at WAW and smacked the car for a 12.8 and 1.84 60 foot time ....twas fun, the 2.5 is so much easier to launch than the 2.0 !..... 6spd and rear bias off the line is sweet too
Best time to date
