Which new Mobile?

I have to get a new phone as my old CDMA work phone can't be transferred into my name as it is CDMA.

I would prefer to stick with Nokia as I have always had them and never had a problem, but I am open to suggestions...

I do not want a 6110 navigator as I think it is a wank.

I do want decent photo quality though and actually rate that highly. MP3 player with MicroSD would also be desirable.

Any thoughts?

I had cdma and went to LG tu500....pictures are good quality...mp3..quality good..I put a 256meg chip in for more space but will take up to 1 gig chip I think..for lotsa songs..files...photos etc...do google image search on lg tu500 for picture.. I have had no problems..have dropped it a few times..no damage fairly sturdy. It is slimline and can hardly feel it in my pocket till it vibrates..oooohhh....I also got a car kit and installed like so....

i just got a nokia e65. It seems quite good sofar. Doesnt have the repeat alarm function of the old nokias (until you download a program to do it for $10)

bluetooth car kit is great. Just leave phone in pocket and it works. It takes microSD cards too.

Nokia have just released the 6120
Testing finds the handset has a really good range, but does not have the ability to use an external ariel. As far as handset alone, one of the best.

2MP camera
Bloody quick on the net.
LOUD
Very very small and light for NextG handset.
Clear and easy to use. (Provided you've used a phone that was made sometime this century...)
The quote comes from Telstra guy in Darwin so don't shoot me please

Yeah I looked at one of those, just want to get some sample images from the camera. If they are anything like the N70's 2mp camera then I think it'll do the trick.

The Telstra SHop chick reckons a heap of new phones will be released in January to coincide with them switching CDMA off.... At which time I have to replace the other phone...

Sony, Sony, Sony. I first got a 750i and I hammered it around asia working for 18 months and never had an issue, it is still going in fact, my kid has it now, but the motorola I have sucks big time,. Nokia's never grow on me the operating system is to slow and a pain in the butt to find things.

I can't remeber the new model sony, but has 3.2Mp camera with a proper flash, looks good I will definately be getting a sony when the razor dies.

Yeah, I read a review of the K810 today. Only thing is, the very first phone I bought was a sony (back in 2000) and it was ****, this was when 5110's were getting a week of standby, and the 3210 several days - my Sony was lucky to get through a day, less if I actually used it!

I trust they got better?

Oh yeah, other negative thing......

Sony takes a mini memory stick

My MP3 player takes microsd, my camera takes SD, my computer takes microSD in an adaptor, does the mini memory stick come with an adaptor and is it $30 per gig?

battery in mine was good for 3 days heavy use (project manager), and a week not so heavy (holidays), comes with adpter to memory stick, but they also connect easily by usb cable.
