To those few remaining active members and anyone else that reads on anonymously, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
I hope you all have a safe and enjoyable silly season. Don’t be one of the many dickheads that seem to come out at this time of year!
Here’s to a prosperous New Year and many parts of the world finding peace!
Cheers (bottoms up!)
Bennie

Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year to you and your family too El Freddo.
Not going anywhere near the roads during the silly season, unless it's absolutely necessary.

A belated Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to everyone, we were in Japan 21/12/2025 to 01/01/2026. We had a "White Christmas" up in Hakuba the site of the 1998 Winter Olympics near Nagano, it got down to -7°C.

We went to Osaka (3 days) - Hakuba (4 days) & Tokyo (4 days) then back home. I never seen so many bridges in all my 76 years, they were everywhere in Osaka & Tokyo.

Trip to Japan - sick! That’s one country of two that I’m keen to visit at some point!
Sounds like you had a wicked time with a white Christmas too

We did have a great trip, but it was all over too soon. We have learned not what to do next time, one thing we did wrong was the old sin of taking too many clothes.
Two other things I like about Japan is that it was spotless, even out in the countryside and their honesty. I saw an Audi TT parked in the street overnight, it would last 2 seconds here in Australia.
It was down to -7°C in Hakuba when we were there.
