Non Subaru... Camry dies occasionally

I know its not subaru but it is urgent.
My girlfriend owns a 90 model Toyota Camry, 3sfe twin cam engine.

I was driving out of caltex the other day, just idling along, and as i put my foot down to pull out onto the road, it died. lifted my foot and it came back to life. I then drove 200 odd ks without a hiccup.
The same thing has happened 4 or 5 times since, but i wasnt driving it those times. Once it has died completly.

Im guessing air flow meter (flapper type) or the TPS.
I dont think it is fuel pressure as i can flogg it full throttle and it goes fine.

Anybody have any idea what it could be

Thanks.

Seems to be a common problem. Bad coil seems to be a popular diagnosis.
