France or Portugal?

Post by MUDRAT » Wed Jul 05, 2006 9:57 pm

As some of you may know I've been doing some serious punting on the World cup.

If I don't win this one I'm broke (no loss, I've already got my original bet back), but if I do win this one I'll stand to make a few quid if you get my drift.

My gut's telling me France, the odds are telling me France . . . but I've been wrong before. That and my Canadian heritage just tells me that France . . . well . . . really sux.

Ok you Soccer Gurus, who should I put my money on?

Ok, I trust you Gordon.

I lost last night (sie dachten nicht, dass Epp ein australischer name war tat sie?) so if I don't win tonight it'll all be for naught.

I picked the origin though! NSW-QLD-QLD!

Brett mate I owe you a beer when we meet. More than one.

I've not been following the World Cup, but I'd like to see Portugal win.

I am going to put my bucks on France, but I am really uneasy about it. Portugal are good, and they have Deco back. Portugal has never made it to the final game and I am banking on Frances experience in these games to pull the through. But I just have this uneasy feeling of a upset in the winds :?

I would also hate to see a final of Portugal and Italy, the two countries renowned for diving.
