Mate, how many of those now pricey old glass garage oil bottles have i seen go smasho on 6" thick concrete floors !!

check out these from Office Works !

They are actually water bottles 1600cc capacity (which means I under filled the last oil change  ) . They were once available as an individual but when i went to go buy again, think I had to buy a dozen in a box !

Makes for easy dispensing from 20 litre drums and ease of pouring into our odd Subie fill necks

And how do they go when you drop them on six inch thick cement? Only one crack instead of a thousand??

Cheers

I don't know - only got 4" slab now :) (40mm pavers more like it, or reduced further - banished to working on crushed brick not quite the dirt floor farm shed though :) ) At least if I ever drop one will be about $3 for the bottle (instread of $80 for an olde glasse one) but could have more oil to clean up! These have a cleverer kneck design, flip top hinged environment seal
