anyone know if Brumby is a brand sold by or only by a large hardware originating in WA ?

They used to do a set of three wire brushes similar to a tooth brush, each one with different bristles like steel, brass and nylon and easily snap-able black plastic handles.

Another nationwide reseller has a very similar set in Stanley brand and about 14 bucks. I swear these brush sets by Brumby were less than five bucks, maybe medallion brand too ? Not sure I need the 14 dollar quality even at special 20% off sale days !

I've only seen them at that large hardware store originating in WA. I have a particularly nasty one for "aggressive" brushing...

aha, need to go visit a WA origin hardware merchant must be them that has the particular thrifty priced items. I sort of balk at the other chains pricing when mind recalls the snap that ends their life. Josco puts their name to the more robust rotary wire brushes :) ta

ummm ...yes ... hmmm.... a non virtual visit to not same store name reveals only STANLEY brand packaged brushes that look identical and about the 14 buck mark....

that is them thanks Phiz - helps everyone :)

OK thinking retailers are reducing lines carried ...SCA no longer carry, but can order in those breather filters for PCV lines , caps etc. Noticed another BIG retailer has stock arranged so just one item per hook, though many hooks per same item in wide ranging dept as lollies and men swear. I guess wire brushes just gone same way and upmarket ?

Aha, not SCA link there either :)
