AWD Banned on Straddie

Have a read of this link people have got no idea :evil:

The only thing i found was this site https://www.straddiecamping.com.au/ there is nothing on National Parks that i found, It was to late to ring them and ask
Makes me wonder if it is only at the camping areas not the beach?

has anyone actually confirmed this is true though? sounds like a load of BS to me.

Jan i have looked at there site and if they are serious they have not given it much thought as most modern 4wd are awd with a center diff lock, By definition they are saying a standard brumby/L Series with selectable 4wd is ok but an Outback or Forester is not. I agree with the post above sounds like BS. I will probably test it out as i am going over in a few weeks and my son is coming in his GT Forester
