Anybody know this ebay seller?

Post by Corax » Fri May 30, 2014 1:32 am

Hi All,

Bought a quad headlight surround off ebay about a week ago where the seller preferred local pickup but was willing to post if I paid for the postage. I have emailed him 3 times in regards to the postage costs but no reply. This guys seller tag is 'gt-completepower'. I was wondering if anyone on this site knows who he is or has bought something off him in the past as he has a lot of brumby parts? His feedback is 100%. Any ideas what I should do from here? While I have bought the item I haven't paid for it, mainly because I have no idea how much he wants for postage!

Cheers,
Corax.

I recall a recent auction buyer was pi$$ed at this seller for a brumby tarp - mis-represented a beat up, stretched unit as as-new.

I think I've purchased something from this guy ages ago. Will have to double check that though. If I have I don't recall any issues with the purchase.

Cheers

Yep been a week now with no reply, really needed that surround for my new brumby as well. Don't know what to do now because as soon as I buy another one this guy will get in contact with me!

Buy one, let him deal with it.

Or pay for it less postage and he may chase you for the extra , as soon as you buy another.

What'd ya pay, if you don't mind?

Contact eBay and explain the situation. They should be able to sort it out for you. I personally would buy another one and ask eBay to cancel this one for you.. if the seller cannot communicate, then he should lose the sale in my opinion.

Ebay system gives you the ability to cancel the purchase giving lack of communication as the reason. If you go to cancel the purchase I uspeck he will extract the digit resonably quickly ,

BTW it seems that item went for $20 + postage - do you need just the drivers side or both , in either case I may be able to help out . let me know. cheers

Yeah got it for a lobster plus postage, if I can ever find out how much postage is that is. Just need the drivers side as the one on the brumby I just bought is being held on with cable ties. Its taken me 3 days so far to just clean the inside as it was owned by a tradie and everything had a layer of filth on it like you would not believe! On the plus side so far Ive found $27.30 in change and a working ipod mini, so not all bad:)
