ebay has a problem with me buying in US, sending it to US , but bloody trying to charge international shipping rates , that differ from US$17 within US 48 top states to US$94 to Oz.
I have requested seller and ebay to attend to problem 24 hours ago and it has not been fixed and have not got a reply specific to the problem
If you have mastered sales on ebay, do you know how to reset shipping fee to suit sale?
Have been given a yellow card automatically by ebay for not yet paying - needs to be paid for by Saturday
Try ring them ??? huh ???

Haven't had that specific problem, but normally in the checkout process there's a stage where it adds up item cost + shipping + insurance etc, and gives you an opportunity to apply a discount. Maybe whack in -$77 in there.
Or perhaps you could change your default address to that of your American agent.

Steptoe have you tried adding the US address to the address list in your eBay account? On checkout you can choose the US address and the eBay checkout system will correctly calculate the shipping cost.
Just make sure you do not make the US address your primary postal address.

you won't be able to do it unless you change your shipping address to one in the USA and for it to work it will have to be your primary shipping adress until you change it back

I lived in Singapore and shipped stuff here at the end of my "jail time" in Singapore and I had to use my Australian address as my primary to ship
did you notify the seller of your intentions or did you just request an invoice
I have found it easier to get someone in the US to buy the item then get them to invoice you through paypal (remembering to add the % paypal subtracts from the person receiving the money)
hope this has helped

You do not have to ship to your primary address as you can ship to additional addresses in your eBay account. It is simply a matter of changing the address in checkout.

Thanks for the tips, sorry, cryptic gene in me did not state in the simplest easy to understand terms here in my rush - yes i have added the US address details as an additional address to my ebay account , did not work until I used a valid telephone number either. But it worked as in it shows now in the drop down as secondary. Possibly I do need to follow TOONGAs advice and change my primary to the US address.
It could be easy done as I see it, seller just issue me an invoice via my paypal account. Will pop in to see if any reply has been sent from either ebay, papyal or the seller.

ALL SORTED ! Thank Fu...ji !
Got a message via ebay from seller to simply say new invoice sent ...but where ? Went into my need to pay for item and followed as if to pay via paypal method and whacko , correct amount came up.
You know, even at the US$230 delivered to my door is a good price for an exedy clutch for an L Series from gripforce on ebay. They supposedly retail in US for 310 which in our money is about the trade price. They still have nine in stock at $136 plus shipping flat rate box at $60 insured if they will do it and current exchange rate in use at ebay paypal is 90 cents roughly
