MAD! At my finance company!

Post by Alex » Thu Jun 10, 2010 1:44 pm

a little vent off.

rang my finance company(not going to name them) to get a small loan(only around 5-7k)

i want to upgrade to this car. Damn ive fallen in love with it :( 2.2l stroker kit and soo many goodies!

http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/pri ... __Qpb=true

anyway they said no to a small loan cos i started a new job in January and need to be off probation for a minimum of 6 months(this will be in october) before they even touch me. Even though i have a current car loan with them(almost 4 years now), havent missed any payments and have done nothing wrong. IM MAD!!

that is all

wow that's an awesome car, I hope you manage to get it somehow. Maybe threaten to re-finance with another company, they might decide to keep you afterall. Otherwise go ahead and re-finance.

If you have a good credit rating and you want that car no matter what.. then look at GE Money and apply for a $10g loan.. you're bound to get it if you can show proof of the loan you're paying now.

I know the interest may be a little higher but on that small amount it wont make that much difference ;)

possibly. They might be keen to keep your business tho.
I discovered that Bankwest have an entire "retention team" dedicated to keeping people with them for homeloans when I threatened to change to another bank.
They ended up offering me a different loan product which is only meant for people with 500k + loans. Way better interest rate now :)

okay ill give them another ring and be abit more aggressive this time.

im upset that they said no, but its not a huge thing if i miss it, my current gen3 is more than acceptable!

and itll probably upset my future dream of owning an audi a8 haha.

I got a 24k loan on my Crewman then swapped it for my Impreza. I was 19, working4 days as casual 1 day permanent. Working for only 4 months, no holiday for except for the 1 day permanent, and being in a school, there's lots of holidays.

There usually is first line of dealing with customers, usually pushing customer relations. There is usually a second stage when customer comes back and says not good enough and what are you going to do to keep me as a customer and keep me coming back.

Mention that you may only have an existing loan for a car but your girl is getting clucky, wants to buy a house and you will need to look around for a bigger than a car loan.

Please send me any info you have on home loans after you approve this car loan sort of confidence.

LOL thanks alot guys! I think id get rejected from the sperm bank...who's want a kid that looks like me???

ive pretty much given up now. Really cbf with all the crap and im too busy at work. The girl also talked some sense into me, theres nothing wrong with my current lib and she reckons i should wait till im older and more responsible till i get a quick car.....YEAH RIGHT!

I think its be better for me to continue with my liberty and stick it out for a coupla years and get something better in the future...IE AUDI!

cheers

that's quite right, if the driver is a girl.

things wrong with your current lib;
1 - non turbo
2 - automatic

Maybe just try and save up or pay off your loan quicker instead of re-financing.
Don't give up tho, you know you need a man's street car :) If you wait until you grow up you'll probably buy an Audi or something homo like that....

pros-
1. reliable as hell
2. averages 8.1l/100km
3. looks good
4. leather and very very comfotable
5. its an auto (i like autos in a daily non 4x4 car)
6. its quick enough and keeps up with traffic.
7. it wont get me into mega trouble haha

Audis arent homo andrew. Do you think a v8 in a medium car pushing 340kw is gay? Subaru could only dream of it.
