Anyone use different brand of thread inserts with their repair kits, such as fix a thread, recoil or helicoil?

I did not get around to restocking my recoil brand repair kit before Christmas and cannot get any of this brand until shop reopens - no sign on window, and if there was no window I could reach in and help myself.

Pack warns not to use other brands in case they all use differing tap - makes sense and not a risk I wanna take on this task - repairing cambox to head thread on EA82T head.l

Never had any trouble with helicoil, drill out, tap and screw in the replacement using a really good thread locking compound....locktite something something
