I tell you what...ain't it great when something leaves Chicago on Friday 20 Nov wrapped in the days Chicago Tribune and it arrives at lunch time the following Tuesday in NSW Australia!! about 72 hours by reckoning. Bit better than some merchants in the same state have to be called again to find out where ya parcel is!! The major bits I got for US$25 nearly make up the A$140 kit here. And also got an inline thermostat to keep my LPG converter at the optimium temp of 130 to 140 F to prevent the other bits in the gas mix from falling out of the mix at higher temps leaving their deposits to seep out as oil or rot the internal diafragems
Postage on 770 grams was about $40 in a box big enough to send a cake.
Left Chicago Fri > NSW Tues lunch

And here's the other thing - friday the 20th over there is saturday the 21st over here! It does my head in, but I left the US on the 20th as well and arrived home on the 22nd, but it was only a 14 hr flight! I love the international date line when headed east, but hate it when headed west!!!
Cheers

Yeah, it does my head in travelling for 36 hours or more, only to arrive at your destination to find it's only been a few hours since you left! haha. The jet-lag is worse going west than east I find.
My cousin has bought quite a few parts directly from the US and saved hundreds of dollars. Even with shipping!
