G'day,
Short story here, I am under way of reconditioning an panel saw at work, On the sliding table (which is aluminum) it needs a good polish and I've came up with an idea that ive never done before.

You know behind the Truck Tankers (fuel tankers etc), there is an circler spot polished, Someone said an pad and angle grinder and set the points to polish, I would like to know how and what kind of stuff to use...

If someone knows what its called and I would like to check out on youtube etc....

No idea if it's true but I remember hearing years ago it was done with a block of wood attached to the end of a drill somehow.

i think thay use a full face sander flat down with a slow speed in a drill .
will ask some of my mates in the trade .
