Ants eat silicone. WHY??
Crazy little buggers, following each other like sheep up from behind the oven, over the bench top, onto an index card I have siliconed a button cell battery to for my father to keep as a reference for battery replacement for his gadgets. I used the sensor safe permatex brand reddish silicone. These little buggers have been standing all around the battery like at a feed trough eating the silicone!! The evidence they leave behind is little fine red bits of the silicone spread around. So much for using the stuff to keep them out of electronic gear!

nah... get a plate fill it up with water or flour, and a cup in the centre - place the item in the middle - the ants hates water or flour.
