Freighting option - praise inside

A few times people have asked about freighting options of parts swapped between forum members. I have been happy with the normal postal system for most things including price. Just this time we hit a snag, Aus Post has a 1200mm limit on parcels and this one went up to 1350 x 300 x 200 at 18kgs. I got a quote from greyhound freight at just under $30 same as Aus Post for same weight, but shorter.

In less than 24hrs from me dropping it off at the nearest greydog terminal I send an email to check on its progress and get a phone call reply *** top marks to say that Mr X has been notified of its arrival, awaiting ID presentation on collection

Greyhound Freight are good. I've dealt with them a few times now. Just had some wheels for my Nissan delivered by them today. Always quick and efficient to deal with.

airroad brought over side skirts from Sydney to Melb costs me 56 bucks. Same with a 18kilo computer from tweed heads (took 2weeks due transfers) to melb costed me 95bucks Door to Door.. I've used GreyHound before (a small pallet of parts) from Adelaide but had to pick up from Depot (sender had to take it to Depot as well.).
Cheers
